Starting point is Mönichkirchen [getting there] at the bottom station of the chair lift, which transports you within a few minutes up to the Mönichkirchner Schwaig. Afterwards stroll on a forest path, passing the Studentenkreuz, to the Hallerhaus.

Slendering downwards over the ski run you reach Mönichkirchner Schwaig again, enjoying a wonderful view even to far distant points of Burgenland and the city of Wiener Neustadt. To reach the starting point of this tour you may take either a scooter on the First Austrian Scooter Course or the chair lift.

To satisfy your thirst and hunger have a rest on the Mönichkirchner Schwaig: Gasthof Enzian, Gasthof Stern or Hallerhaus will offer you their delicious dishes.

Hiking maps can be obtained either at the bottom station or at the upside exit of the chair lift. Otherwise it´s possible to buy your map at the restaurants or at the local authority.
