The construction of the new Panorama Chair Lift has led to an increase in the number of rides per day, which has made it necessary to adjust the slopes in the area of Mariensee to much tougher requirements. As a result, plans have been made to upgrade and step up the snow-making equipment in this area.

14 new fully-automatic snow makers shall be added to the 10 existing snow-making machines. They measure all essential parameters required for snow-making and switch on/off with changes in temperature.

The pumping stations are controlled via wireless command; their operation is automatically switched on and off to ensure production of the maximum amount of snow required.

Thanks to the use of automatic equipment, a 20 percent higher amount of snow is produced within the threshold temperature range.
